Maha Music Festival has announced its local lineup for this year's festival on Aug. 17 at Aksarben Village.

Criteria, Digital Leather, HERS (with special guest Omaha Girls Rock), The Millions and Rock Paper Dynamite comprise the first artists announced as Maha performers. One more local band or artist will be chosen to play the festival at the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards showcase, June 7-8 in Benson. Concertgoers will vote to fill the final spot by choose one band or artist among those playing the OEAAS showcase.

General admission tickets for this year's Maha Music Festival are on sale for $45, as are a few varieties of VIP tickets. The Omaha Entertainment Awards Summer Showcase will take place June 6-7 at six to seven venues in Benson. The public will vote to decide which band or artist among the showcase performers will be playing the Maha Music Festival on Aug. 17.
