The third annual Take Cover show in Omaha at The Waiting Room might be fading in the memories of those who attended and in the regrets of those who didn’t. But there is still a chance to relive a piece of the event.

In the video below, The Brigadiers’ Vic Padios plays bandmate Mark Weber’s song “Burdens of the a.M.,” released during Weber’s time with 1990s band BOX.

Prior to the Take Cover show on Jan. 18, Padios had discussed the song in a concert preview:

“It is a very soft and simple tune, a lullaby really. It has that very elusive lyrical quality of being very personal while conveying a universal message at the same time. Words that appear straightforward really possess tremendous emotional depth. There is also a gentle honesty, an innocence, to the song, but there is also a slightest tinge of lament, a sense that things cannot always stay that way. What I love most about the song is that its meaning has evolved for me over the years, and revealed a depth that I have experienced in a very tangible way.”
