“The Cut” by Quitzow | Love Drunk Video

by Andrew Norman

On day 11 of the 2011 Love Drunk Tour, we turned the Super Suds Laundry in New Paltz, N.Y. into a performance space, full of audio and video equipment, neon-clad dancers and, in the spotlight, lit up like an angel in front of her keyboard, singer/DJ Eric Quitzow. Along with living in the city that's home to Conor Oberst's Team Love Records, Quitzow and her partner Gary Levitt run the DIY label collective Young Love Records, which put out Omaha rock band Landing on the Moon's 2010 album, We Make History Now. So there are a couple Nebraska connections for you. But what's most important about this video is that it will make you dance until your clothes are dripping with sweat, stinking and ready for a wash.
