RAW:Omaha continued its 2014 season with last Friday's event at Sokol Auditorium, showcasing dozens of local artists at "Spectrum."

Violinist Kaitlyn Hova welcomed the guests shortly after the doors opened, giving host Paul Allen an energetic way to kick off the show. He introduced various artists to the stage like singer-songwriter Michelle Eva, the band Low Long Signal, singer Vashauna, and performing artists Surreal De Sade, who wowed the crowd with several acrobatic feats while suspended above the stage.

The gallery featured a wide array of photography, visual art, ceramics, fashion and accessories. As always, RAW's grand finale was the runway show, featuring fashion designers and hair and makeup artists.

Joining us this showcase were Omaha Fashion Week alums Joi Joison, Hannah Olson and Tiffany Headley, who was RAW:Omaha's Fashion Designer of 2013. Makeup artists with their own runway show included the punk-glam themed Stefanie Lux, the confetti tossing models of Beauty by KV and the zombie pin-up show of Sara O’Neill and, lastly, Anne Mitchell, who based her show on the night’s theme of “Spectrum.”

Mark the calendar for RAW:Omaha’s next event on June 20, 2014. Apply to be part of the showcase here.
